Week 24..I turn to 6weeks..(according to doctor's chart)

You may be able to feel when your baby is sleeping or awake. The top of your uterus is just above your navel. In hot climates, such as here, it is important to continue to drink lots of water to prevent dehydration. Dehydration is thought to be a cause of premature labor. Contact your doctor if you experience any of the following:

Bright red blood from your vagina
Intense pelvic pressure
Low and dull backache
Contraction or cramps, more than 5 times in 1 hour
Swelling or puffiness of face or hands
Pain when urinating
Sharp enduring pains in your stomach
Sudden gush of clear and watery fluid from your vagina
Acute or continuous vomiting

Your baby is almost complete. A layer of brown fat is forming on the baby’s skin. This will help keep the body warm after being born. Newborn babies are not able to regulate their body temperature in the beginning.
Babies that are born now have a chance to survive with the proper care. Usually, early born babies will have to stay in an intensive care unit for a number of weeks; sometimes until the due date. Your baby now measures about 30 cm and weighs 600 grams.
